We’ve seen many come to Christ…
but we are running out of space.
Hear from people who found Christ at JVC:
“Things fell in place. I just knew I had to be here.”
— Mo
“Churches are vehicles that will put you on a journey to know Christ. I found a true Bible-believing church at JVC. ”
— Richard
“It’s been a huge impact having a faithful community we can grow up with and live with and rely on.”
— Josh
“I got to meet a lot of sweet-hearted people who didn’t even know me, and they welcomed me immediately.”
— Dulce
We want to have space for the people God bring us.
In three years we expect both services to reach capacity.
Building for Today:
Parking: We have 24 parking spaces and use most of the available street parking. We need about 60 spaces.
Seating: Over the past 10 years we’ve grown at 9% a year. At this rate we will fill both services within three years.
Easier Connection: For those from an LDS background, visiting a Christian feels intimidating. A lack of parking or crowded seating easily become obstacles to hearing the gospel.
Building for the Future:
An Anchor for the PCA: By God's grace, a new facility will enable us to become an anchor church, proving stability for the PCA in Utah.
Training Ministry Leaders: With greater resources and space, we plan to regularly welcome interns, training the next generation of Christian leaders for service in Utah and other unreached areas.
Planting Churches: As a mother church we can provide funds and people needed for establishing new PCA churches in Utah.

FAQs
Why not plant a church?
Because of the unique religious landscape in Utah, we’ve discovered that a church building and congregation the size of a local LDS ward resonates with the people. It’s more inviting and is the right size to be able to offer friendships and ministries for all age groups. Our new building will allow us to reach this size, and we plan to then plant daughter churches from our new space.
Why is Utah a mission field?
Utah is the least Christian state in the US. In fact, by percentage, Egypt has a higher percentage of Christians than Utah. While Utah is deeply religious, few people have ever walked into a Christian church or heard the true gospel. And yet, we see God at work as more people are asking questions about their faith than ever before.
What's your timeline?
We hope to move into a new building by 2030. This is an aggressive timeline because of the difficulties of finding space for churches and the large fundraising need, but we are trusting in God to provide for us if this is his will.
